(Versailles, Ind.) - Can you help police find out who broke into, vandalized, and stole from a local school?
The Versailles Police Department is asking the public for their tips regarding a break-in at the Southeastern Career Center.
Town Marshall Joe Mann believes the job training facility on U.S. 50 was broken into between 11:00 p.m. Monday night and 4:00 a.m. Tuesday morning.
The perps likely made their way in through a door that had not been completely shut before classes ended Monday. Once inside, they broke glass windows out of several doors, damaged computer equipment, a vending machine, and cash register.
A small amount of money was also taken, said Mann.
No suspects are in custody. Mann says he is following a number of leads.
There were no surveillance cameras inside the school, but Mann is reviewing security footage from nearby businesses.
