(Dearborn County, Ind.) – Indiana State Police will conduct a sobriety checkpoint this coming weekend in hopes of getting drunk drivers off the streets.
Troopers at the Versailles Post will conduct the checkpoint at an undisclosed location in Dearborn County this Saturday, Oct. 23 at 12:00 midnight and continuing until 2:00 a.m.
The drivers passing through the checkpoint will be asked for their licenses and registrations. They will only be detained briefly while troopers determine whether further investigation is necessary.
