A vehicle overturned in a ditch after a crash on Lawrenceburg Road in Whitewater Town- ship Monday. Kyle Luebbe-Eagle 99.3 |
A man who wrecked his car but did not stick around for police may have been driving drunk.
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office says Robert Wells, of Harrison, flipped his car on Lawrenceburg Road in Whitewater Township Monday evening.
He left the scene, but later came back and told police a tire had blown out. Officers say that all four tires were obviously inflated.
Wells would then fail a sobriety test and allegedly admitted he had been drinking.
He’s charged with OVI and Failure to Maintain Control.
