Dearborn County Sheriff’s deputies have identified the victim in Monday’s motorcycle crash on Chatham Road.
Rick Reatherford, 51, of Aurora was leaving a friend’s house when he lost control of the motorcycle as he pulled out from the driveway onto Chatham Road.
Reatherford, who was not wearing a helmet, suffered a serious head injury. He was aircared to University Hospital in Cincinnati where his current condition is not know.
Crash investigators are not yet sure if loose gravel at the end of the driveway or a mechanical issue with the motorcycle led to the accident.

(Moores Hill, Ind.) - A motorcyle rider suffered serious injuries in the crash in rural Dearborn County.
The crash happened around 5:50 Monday afternoon on the 14900 block of Chatham Road near Moores Hill.
Aircare took the unidentified victim to the hospital. They reportedly suffered serious head injuries.
