Jacob Bumpass, 22, was the last person seen with Paige Johnson when he picked her up at her home on Sept. 23.
Johnson, 17, the mother of a two-year-old, has not been heard from since. She left her cell phone behind before leaving with Bumpass.
Bumpass was arrested on a parole violation at his home Oct. 4, but police won’t call him a suspect in the disappearance because of lack of evidence. He remains held at the Kenton County Jail for that violation.
Investigators obtained a search warrant for Bumpass’ Taylor Mill home. Inside, the say they found dried blood and latex gloves in a sink. Test results on the blood are pending.
Warrants were also obtained for Bumpass’ cell phone records and his car.
Covington Police say Bumpass has hired a lawyer and has not been cooperative with their investigation.
