(Aurora, Ind.) - A man was seriously hurt after jumping out of a moving vehicle in Switzerland County Sunday evening.

Deputies say the man was riding in a car on Markland Pike Road when he jumped out near Atkinson Hill Road around 5:30.

Aircare was called to take that unidentified man to University Hospital in Cincinnati. There is now update on his medical condition.

Deputies are not sure why that man jumped out of the vehicle. The incident remains under investigation.
