Jason Q. Daugherty, of Versailles, skipped the final day of his trial in Ripley County last month. He missed the last two days of the proceedings as the jury returned a guilty verdict on a charge of Conspiracy to Manufacture Methamphetamine according to the Versailles Republican.
Daugherty, 33, was on the run until police found him at a home on County Road 750 E in Ripley County’s Columbia Township early Wednesday morning. He had tried to run out the back door of the home as police pulled in the driveway, but other officers were there waiting.
Nov. 1 has been scheduled for Daugherty’s sentencing. He faces six to 20 years in prison.
