Ronald D. Buckingham
Dearborn County Law Enforcement
That’s what Ronald D. Buckingham told Dearborn County Sheriff’s deputies after they finally tracked him down.
Buckingham, 24, was riding his red 2006 Suzuki motorcycle on U.S. 50 popping wheelies and speeding past other cars on Sept. 26. A deputy spotted Buckingham allegedly driving above the posted speed limit of 60 MPH near Huesman Road and attempted to initiate a traffic stop according to a court affidavit.
That’s when the Union, Ky. resident allegedly took off in excess of 130 MPH. The biker continued weaving in and out of other traffic to evade police.
Buckingham managed to get away temporarily. Once the deputies found him, he admitted to speeding away from police.
Buckingham is charged with Resisting Law Enforcement with a Motor Vehicle and Reckless Driving. He was taken to the Dearborn County Law Enforcement Center where he posted a $2,500 surety and $1,000 cash bond.
