The Greendale Fire Department has identified the victim hurt in a house fire on Feller Avenue early this morning.
Firefighters pulled Hollis Biggs, 69, out of a bedroom where the fire began inside the home. He was aircared to University Hospital from Greendale City Park.
The fire, which has been ruled accidental, was contained to that bedroom.
Biggs is currently in fair condition at the hospital. Nobody else was hurt.
The home belongs to Carolyn Williams, of Greendale. Hollis Biggs lived there with his son, Shawn Biggs, Shawn’s wife, Melissa, and their infant daughter according to Greendale Fire.

(Greendale, Ind.) - Greendale Firefighters are being credited with saving a man’s life Thursday morning.
At 12:48 a.m. firefighters received a call that a fire had broken out in a home 234 Feller Avenue.
A 69-year-old man on home oxygen was trapped in one of the rooms. The first Greendale firefighters were on the scene within two minutes and saved the man from the burning building.
The victim did suffer burns and smoke inhalation. He would later be flown by aircare to University of Cincinnati Hospital for treatment. His name and current condition are unknown.
A cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Greendale was assisted at the scene by fire departments from Lawrenceburg and Bright.
