(Ohio County, Ind.) - Another local county has decided to implement a ban on outdoor fires.
On Friday, Ohio County Commissioners issued a verbal no burn order advised by the Ohio County Emergency Management Agency because of the recent dry weather according to the Indiana Department of Homeland Security.
Switzerland County is still under a burn ban as of last week. Dearborn, Franklin, and Ripley counties have yet to order burn bans.

Our region’s dry spell may not last much longer. The National Weather Service is predicting a 60 percent chance of rain both Monday and Tuesday with as much as one inch of rainfall possible.
