(Bright, Ind.) – Commuters in the Bright area may have to find a detour around part of North Dearborn Road Wednesday morning.

At about 7:30, a vehicle crashed into a utility pole between Henderson Road and Dole Road. Dispatchers said one person was injured but not seriously.

The utility pole was split in half from the impact.

No power outages have been reported in the area.

North Dearborn Road remains closed as of 8:45 a.m. It may remain closed for the next couple hours as crews repair the pole.
