(Aurora, Ind.) - Dearborn County Sheriff’s detectives say a medical issue likely led to the death of a man found in Aurora last weekend.

On Saturday afternoon, a nearby resident found Joe Carter, 60, dead in a van parked on Old Stewart Street.

DCSD Detective John Vance said the death is not considered suspicious, although results of a toxicology test are pending.

Carter had likely been dead for a couple days when he was found said Vance.

He was believed to be living in the van where he was found.
