(Aurora, Ind.) – An Aurora man was hospitalized following a crash on U.S. 50 near town Wednesday afternoon.

At about 12:30, Samuel T. Goodall, 49, was driving his Ford pickup truck westbound on the highway when his right rear tire blew out according to the Indiana State Police Versailles Post.

The loss of the tire caused the truck to run off the roadway and into a ditch where it overturned.

Aurora Life Squad took Goodall to Dearborn County Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Indiana State Police were also assisted at the scene by Dearborn County Sheriff’s Deputies, Dillsboro Police Department, Aurora and Dillsboro Fire Departments.
