(Undated) - Flags around the country will be flown at half-staff tomorrow – the ninth anniversary of the Sept. 11th terrorist attacks.
Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels directed Thursday that all flags throughout the state be lowered to half-staff in honor of Patriot Day Saturday. The order is in accordance with a directive from President Barack Obama.
All Americans are also asked to observe a moment of silence at 8:46 a.m. EDT, the time when the first plane collided with the World Trade Center in New York City on Sept. 11, 2001.
The City of Aurora will hold a Rally for America on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. outside the Aurora Public Library. Dearborn County’s policemen and women, firefighters, military veterans, and others are invited to come recognize the sacrifice of first responders.
