(West Harrison, Ind.) - The all-call is being put out for parents, students, business leaders and others in the Sunman-Dearborn Community Schools district.

Superintendent Jeff Hendrix says the Sunman-Dearborn Leadership Council is organized by parent volunteer Amy Byrd.  The council is to be a “sounding board” for parents on decisions affecting the schools ranging from budget and programs to communications and operations.

School board president Kim Weber and board member David Anderson will each serve as liaisons to the Leadership Council.

The group’s first meeting is Wednesday, Sept. 8 beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the East Central High School Media Center.
