(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The Governor of Indiana will pay a visit to Lawrenceburg Tuesday.

Mitch Daniels has a handful of events planned in the Spirit City. He’ll start his visit at 3:30 p.m. meeting with students at Ivy Tech Community College for a question-and-answer.

Later in the afternoon Governor Daniels will attend a rally and cookout for fellow Republican and District 68 State Representative candidate Jud McMillin. The event will run from 4:30 to 7:00 at Lawrenceburg’s Newtown Park just off U.S. 50. Daniels will arrive around 6:00.

The District 68 seat is currently held by longtime Democrat incumbent Bob Bischoff. Daniels is trying to help sway the Indiana House of Representatives from Democrat control to the GOP.
