(Carroll County, Ky.) - Kentucky State Police are asking for the public’s help in catching a driver involved in a deadly hit-and-run Wednesday.

At about 12:35 a.m., Aaron L. Martin, of Ghent, had ran his car into a ditch along Kentucky 47 about 1.5 miles outside of Ghent in Carroll County. Nobody was hurt in the accident.

As Martin, 24, was trying to get the vehicle out of the ditch he was struck by a passing motorist who then fled.

Martin died at the scene.

Troopers say the hit-and-run vehicle was later found, but the driver is still at-large.
