(Brookville, Ind.) – In an effort to remove drunk drivers from the road, there will be a sobriety checkpoint in Dearborn County early Thursday morning.
The checkpoint by the Indiana State Police will run from midnight to 2:00 a.m. at an undisclosed location in the county.
All drivers passing through will be stopped briefly while troopers determine if further investigation is necessary.
The state police say checkpoint times and locations are based upon statistical data derived from their DUI arrest and crash records.
