Nominations are being taken now for the Fifth Annual Women of Distinction Awards. Each year the Dearborn County Chamber of Commerce gives the award to five accomplished women.

The award honoring outstanding women in Dearborn County will be handed out during a luncheon on Oct. 14 at the Hollywood Casino ballroom.

Nominations are being accepted at the Dearborn County Chamber of Commerce until Friday, Sept. 24.

The 2009 honorees were Autumn Lacey Burke, Charlotte Hastings, Jennifer Lyness, Liz Morris, and Debbie Smith.

Reservations to the luncheon must be made with the Chamber by Oct. 8.
