(Batesville, Ind.) - A reward is now being offered for information leading to a suspect or suspects in the Batesville Schools bus vandalism on Tuesday.
Sixteen buses had the valve stems cut off their tires and school was delayed 90 minutes.
Some Batesville businesses and the school corporation are offering the reward. People are invited to donate to the reward fund by contacting Batesville School Superintendent Jim Roberts at (812) 934-2194 or e-mailing jroberts@batesville.k12.in.us.
Batesville Police Lieutenant Gandy Browning, the lead investigator on the case, said Thursday morning that no suspects have been identified yet, but ever lead is being looked into.

The person or people responsible for the vandalism can be charged with Institutional Criminal Mischief, a Class C felony punishable by two to eight years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
