Indiana Secretary of State Connie Lawson
(Indianapolis, Ind.) - Secretary of State Connie Lawson will visit southeastern Indiana Wednesday, September 25.
Lawson’s first stop of the tour will be to the Switzerland County High School at 9:00 a.m., where she will speak with students about financial responsibility.
Later, Lawson will stop and speak with students at the Rising Sun High School at 1:45 p.m. The topic will be the same; the importance of budgeting money and the negative impact that the misuse of credit cards may bring financially.
Lawson’s final stop for the day will be in Dearborn County. She will visit Hardintown Salvage Yard in Lawrenceburg at 3:45 p.m. in an attempt to better understand the needs of salvage companies. It is the responsibility of the Secretary of State to regulate salvage yards within the state.
