(Rising Sun, Ind.) - The Rising Sun Volunteer Fire Department is hosting a coat drive to benefit needy children living in Ohio County.
The weather is getting colder and time is running out to help keep a local child warm this winter. The fire department’s annual coat drive is taking place through October 1.
Gently used coats of all sizes, from children’s coats to adult coats, are greatly needed. The coats must be machine washable.
Donors can drop off coats at the Rising Sun Fire House at 121 South High Street. The coats will then be distributed to Ohio County families in need.
