(Hebron, Ky.) – Four people were injured – one of them with life-threatening injuries – in a crash in Hebron Saturday afternoon.
Just before 6:00 p.m., Boone County Sheriff’s officers were sent to a three-vehicle collision at the intersection of Langley Drive and Northbend Road.
An 18-year-old male driver was making a left turn onto Northbend Road when a woman driving on Northbend could not avoid hitting his vehicle despite slamming her brakes. An elderly couple coming from the other direction was struck when the man's car spun out of control.
A 74-year-old man in that third vehicle was flown to University of Cincinnati Medical Center with what deputies described as life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the sheriff's office.
