(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Spectators will be given a chance to see and feel a 4,000 pound piece of the former World Trade Center destroyed in the 9/11 terrorist attack.
The large piece of rubble will be on display during the Lowe’s Safety Saturday event on Saturday, September 14 at the hardware chain’s store on U.S. 50-Eads Parkway in Lawrenceburg.
The free event promoting safety will be fun for the whole family. The Lawrenceburg, Aurora and Greendale Fire Departments will be bringing fire-trucks and ambulances. Police K-9 units, a Stop, Drop and Roll smoke house and fingerprint identification kits will also be on hand for the event.
The event will be from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
