(Undated) - Kentucky State Police are trying to return a slew of stolen items to their owners.
Last month, Terry Hopper of Florence, Indiana and Pamela Bentz of Bedford, Kentucky, were charged with several home burglaries in Switzerland, Trimble and Carroll counties. The duo is also accused in the burglary of a Trimble County home while the residents were attending their son's funeral.
Investigators got a break in the case when Hooper and Bentz were arrested while attempting to sell a stolen gun in Tennessee on July 18. After their arrests, police obtained a search warrant for the Bedford apartment where Hopper, 43, and Bentz, 44, lived. Many more stolen items were recovered there.
Some of the stolen items recovered have been returned to the homes where they belong, but many others have not. Kentucky State Police have a list of those items:
-A large white porcelain vase
-Assorted jewelry (rings, necklaces, bracelets, etc)
-Pink quartz ladies watch, small wooden box with “I love you” on it,
-Two Longaberger baskets,
-Green Merit Coin holder containing Buffalo Indian Nickels
-Small plastic tubes containing pennies
-Black and silver pocket knife
-Brown Frost Cutlery 3 blade pocket knife
-Black pellet gun
-Two black shotgun sleeves containing 3 shotgun shells ( two 16 gauge, one 12 gauge) “passport” brand
-HP laptop computer with Ivy Tech State College property sticker
