(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Folks visiting businesses on Tanners Creek Drive in Lawrenceburg will have to deal with orange barrels for a few weeks.
Starting on Thursday, August 8, construction crews will begin a road project to add a left turn lane to South Tanners Creek Drive near U.S. 50, city officials say. The new left lane will help ease congestion for traffic turning onto South Tanners Creek from U.S. 50.
The left turn-only lane will lead into the parking lots of Little Ceasar’s Pizza and the U.S. Post Office.
The project, which will take about three weeks to complete, will require the road to be widened.
Construction will take place during the days and evenings.
