(Hamilton County, Oh.) - Weekend road construction will slow down traffic on Interstate 74 in Hamilton County.
The site will be at the Interstate 275 split just east of Miamitown. The Ohio Department of Transportation says starting at 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 19, there will be a lane closure in the westbound lanes. A second lane will be closed starting at 8:00 p.m.
Work is expected to wrap up by 6:00 a.m. Monday, July 22.
All ramps will remain open during the construction. An ODOT news release said arrow boards or signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
