(Osgood, Ind.) - The Ripley County 4-H Fair is coming up next week, but first it needs a queen.
That was decided on Sunday during the annual Ripley County Fair Queen Pageant at the Damm Theater in Osgood. Katelyn Huffman earned the tiara from among 14 candidates, the Batesville Herald-Tribune reports.
Huffman is a recent Milan High School graduate. The 10-year 4-H member plans to attend Indiana State University to study business and Spanish this Fall.
Huffman will volunteer at the Ripley County 4-H Fair July 21st through the 27th at the Ripley County Fairgrounds in Osgood. After that, she will compete at the Indiana State Fair pageant in Indianapolis this August.
