Dearborn County dispatchers advise that I-74 in West Harrison reopened just before 9:45 this morning. The highway had been closed since 4:20 a.m. when a semi crashed in a construction zone.

Dearborn County dispatchers advise that I-74 EB remains shut down due to a semi accident. The semi did not overturn but became wedged into a guardrail at a construction zone at the 168 mile marker.
Motorists report being stuck in a traffic jam which extends past the St. Leon exit.

At about 4:20 a.m., a semi crashed in the highway’s eastbound lanes between the 167 and 168 mile markers where a construction zone is currently located.
Dearborn County Dispatch says no injuries have been reported.
I-74 EB remains shut down due to the accident. There is no estimate on when it may reopen.
