(Greendale, Ind.) - The Interstate-275 Carroll Cropper Bridge was shut down for several hours overnight Thursday into Friday.
A semi was stopped in the eastbound lanes of the bridge over the Ohio River near the Kentucky side when it was struck from behind by a second semi a little after 9:00 p.m.
Police said there were no injuries involved, but the accident did cause a traffic mess. The eastbound side of the bridge was closed until about midnight.
The accident is under investigation by the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.
