Indiana Governor Mike Pence
(Indianapolis, Ind.) - Indiana Governor Mike Pence’s office is catching some flack for deleting some posts off his Facebook page.
Following Wednesday’s U.S. Supreme Court rulings on gay marriage, the conservative Pence posted his reaction statement on Facebook.
Reading the governor’s thoughts, Hoosiers supporting gay marriage began to post their comments on Pence’s page. According to the Indianapolis Star, those commenters say their posts were soon deleted from Pence’s page. Some of the posters say they were also banned from the governor’s page.
A governor’s spokesperson told the Star that the governor’s office respects the opinions of all Hoosiers, but offered no explanation on the removals.
In his statement yesterday, Pence said he was disappointed with the Supreme Court’s ruling on DOMA.
