(Burlington, Ky.) - Raymond Clutter has been found guilty by a Boone County judge in the horrific murder of a northern Kentucky woman 16 years ago.

Clutter was charged with raping, killing, and butchering Peggy Casey in 1994 before scattering her dismembered corpse across three Ohio counties.

Judge David Melcher convicted Clutter on charges of Murder and Tampering with Evidence charges, but was found not guilty of Rape.

Clutter, who is now 62-years-old, is already in prison for a sodomy charge and faces another 20 years to life when sentenced for the murder. Sentencing will take place Aug. 20.

Casey was a Covington mother of four children. She was 37-years-old at the time of the murder.
