(Guilford, Ind.) - North Dearborn Road will be closed for approximately two months starting next week.
The Dearborn County Highway Department says North Dearborn will be closed between Schantz and Lawrenceville roads in Sunman. Crews will be working on a bridge replacement.
The two month closure starts at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 11.
This upcoming closure will be the second portion of North Dearborn Road to be made off limits to traffic. There is an ongoing reconstruction and alignment project which has North Dearborn shut down just east of State Road 1 in Dover.
Making traffic matters worse for commuters in that area will be a one-month closure of State Road 1 south of Dover starting July 8. That project is being administered by the Indiana Department of Transportation.
