The Switzerland County Sheriff’s Department says an Amelia, Ohio man was the victim killed in an off-road accident Sunday.
The accident happened on property at 14724 Oatman Hill Road at about 11:18 p.m. It was reported as an ATV accident, but deputies arriving on scene found that it was a jeep type vehicle.
The person who called 911 indicated that CPR was in progress on one of the two victims, who were ejected from the jeep.
Pronounced dead at the scene was Michael S. Sullivan, 42.
Sullivan’s passenger, Michael L. Davidson, also of Amelia, was severely injured and transported to University Hospital in Cincinnati. His current condition is not known.
The Switzerland County Sheriff’s Department is still investigating the off-road accident in cooperation with the Switzerland County Coroner’s Office.
Posey Township Fire Department and Switzerland County EMS assisted at the accident scene.

(Switzerland County, Ind.) - A deadly jeep accident is under investigation in Switzerland County.
The accident happened Sunday evening at a home on Oatman Hill Road. One man was killed, according to Switzerland County Sheriff's Department Chief Deputy Richard Lock.
A second victim suffered a serious head injury and had to be taken by aircare to the hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
The victims' identities have not been released. The accident may have taken place while the victims were off-roading.
The Switzerand County Sheriff's Department could release more information Monday afternoon.
