(Laurel, Ind.) - Franklin County police made a meth bust earlier this week.
On Wednesday, the Indiana State Police meth squad, acting on tips, obtained a search warrant for the Laurel home of Carla Taggert, 48. A meth lab was allegedly found in Taggert’s home on Old U.S. 52.
Taggert faces charges of Manufacturing Methamphetamine (Class B felony), Possession of Precursors Used in Methamphetamine Manufacturing (Class D felony), Possession of Methamphetamine (Class D felony), and Maintaining a Common Nuisance (Class D felony).
State police were assisted in the investigation by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department and the Rushville City Drug Task Force.
