Liquor Store Robber Turns Self In

(Hebron, Ky.) – Turns out the liquor store in Hebron held up at gunpoint last week was familiar with the assailant.

On Thursday evening, July 15 a man walked into the Hebron Discount Liquor & Tobacco store located at 2091 North Bend Road and pointed a gun at the clerk.  The man made off with cash.

 

The clerk was able to get a good luck at the man and gave the description to police who identified the suspect within 24 hours as Kenneth Hollingsworth, 44, last known address of Covington, Ky.

 

Reports say he was a frequent customer of the store.

 

An arrest warrant was issued Friday with Hollingsworth turning himself in later that day.

 

Hollingsworth is now held in the Boone County Detention Center on a $20,000 bond.
