(Ripley County, Ind.) – Three teenagers were hospitalized following a crash Sunday evening in Ripley County.
The Ripley County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash on Michigan Road in Dabney at about 5:13 p.m.
Deputies on scene said that it appeared William A. Miller, 18, of Sunman, had been driving south on Michigan Road when his red 1998 Ford Ranger left the wet roadway on the left side for uncertain reasons and collided with a tree.
Miller and two passengers – Emily L. Farmer and Jared R. Mains, both 17, of Osgood – were injured. All three were taken to Margaret Mary Health Care in Batesville for treatment of internal injuries.
The accident remains under investigation by the Ripley County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were assisted at the scene by Rescue 69, Rescue 30, Ripley County Medic, and Versailles Fire Department.
