A Fishers, Indiana woman has been identified as the person killed when a semi and minivan collided head-on on State Road 1 in Dearborn County Monday.
Indiana State Police say Lori L. Dennison, 38, of Fishers was northbound on State Road 1 near Zimmer Road when for unknown reasons her 2005 Chevrolet Venture van crossed the center line. The van was hit head-on by a 2012 International semi tractor trailer rig driven by Natalie J. Paine, 54, of Belmont, Ohio.
After impact both vehicles ran off the west side of the roadway, troopers said.
Dennison was pronounced dead at the scene.
A five year old boy was transported to Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati in critical condition. His condition as of Tuesday morning is still unknown. Police believed to child to be the son of Dennison, although there has been no positive identification yet.
Paine suffered only minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by Indiana State Police. They were assisted at the scene by Dearborn County Sheriff’s Deputies, Dearborn County Coroner’s Office, and St. Leon Fire and EMS.

(Dover, Ind.) - A fatal crash in Dearborn County is under investigation by Indiana State Police.
Dispatchers say that a semi truck and minivan collided on State Road 1 in Dover at about 6:00 Monday evening. One person was killed.
A five-year-old child had to be rushed to the hospital by aircare with serious injuries.
The names of the victims have not been released.
More information could be given by state police Tuesday.
