(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Questionnaires filled out by potential jurors from Dearborn County are coming back to Floyd County for a future trial of an accused southern Indiana serial killer.
William Clyde Gibson is charged with the murders of three different women. He will stand trial first for the April 2012 murder of Christine Whitis, a friend of his late mother, WAVE 3 TV reports.
Jurors in the case will come from Dearborn County. Those men and women will be sequestered in Floyd County during the trial set to begin in July.
About 200 Dearborn County residents recently completed questionnaires which prosecutors and defense lawyers are currently reviewing for prospective jurors.
Gibson will face separate trials for the murders of Stephanie Kirk, which also occurred in 2012, and Karen Hodella in 2002.
