(Hebron, Ky.) - A Hebron father was sentenced Wednesday to six years for the death of his infant daughter four years ago.
Last month, Benjamin Senseman entered a guilty plea in a deal in which he did not admit he killing two-month old Chloe Senseman in 2009. He was convicted in 2010 for manslaughter and ordered to serve 15 years in prison.
However, the Kentucky Court of Appeals overturned Senseman's conviction in 2012, ruling that he was coerced by detectives into making an admission to causing his daughter’s death.
Two years of the six year sentence given Wednesday will be credited for time Senseman had already served in prison before his successful appeal.
Senseman's wife, Laura, was also tried in 2010 for the baby's death, but was acquitted by the jury.
