Horsehoe Casino Cincinnati
(Cincinnati, Oh.) - The new Horseshoe Casino in Cincinnati recorded $21 million in revenue in its first month open to the public.
The Ohio Gaming Control Commission released the first revenue report for the casino on Monday. About 441,000 people visited the casino which opened March 4.
Horseshoe's $21 million in revenue was the second-highest March total in Ohio, following the Horseshoe Casino Cleveland.
With the opening of the state’s fourth casino in the Queen City, statewide casino revenues jumped from $55.5 million in February to $84.3 million in March.
A good portion of those dollars may have previously been gambled in Indiana. We’ll find out the local impact on casino revenues when the Indiana Gaming Commission releases its monthly revenue report for March on Tuesday.
