(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - June was a winning month once again for Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg.
The newest monthly revenue report from the Indiana Gaming Commission shows that Hollywood had $35.6 million in revenue last month, about $7 million more than what they made in the same month last year. Still feeding from the lure of a multi-million dollar expansion project, Hollywood welcomed 316,435 visitors throughout the month.
Belterra Casino in Switzerland County garnered $11.5 million, which was down from $12.2 in June 2009. A total of 138,795 people stepped on board the riverboat.
Grand Victoria Casino and Resort in Rising Sun had $7.7 million in revenue last month, off from $10 million last year, with 110,588 visitors.
Statewide, Indiana’s 13 casinos combined for $221.7 million in revenue in June, slightly better than $219 million in June 2009. There were a total of 2.17 million casino visitors, up from 2.12 million.
