(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Lawrenceburg Police arrested a burglary suspect on Wednesday.
Officers were following up on a burglary investigation at about 1:25 p.m. when Jeremy Jenkins, 32, of Harrison, was found hiding in a vacant apartment. Police were about to deploy a K9 to search for the suspect.
Jenkins was arrested for Burglary (Class B felony), Theft (Class D felony), and Criminal Mischief (Class A misdemeanor) in connection with the break-in.
Police say he also had arrest warrants out of Franklin and Hamilton counties. The warrants from Hamilton County, Ohio included aggravated robbery, robbery, and two counts of felonious assault.
Jenkins is being held at the Dearborn County Law Enforcement Center where his bond has not been set as of Thursday.
Lawrenceburg Police were assisted by the Dearborn-Ohio County Special Crimes Unit and the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Department.
