Traffic cameras show that the ramp from I-275 westbound to southbound I-71/75 has reopened at about 6:45 a.m.
Also, the Ky. 237/North Bend Road overpass in Hebron was reopened.
Both highways were shut down following separate multi-vehicle accidents.
Original story posted at 6:14 a.m.:
(Erlanger, Ky.) – Interstate 275 westbound in Erlanger is shut down because of a multiple-vehicle wreck Tuesday morning.
The interstate closed at about 5:00 a.m. when as many as six vehicles were involved in an accident, completely blocking the westbound lanes near I-71/75.
Several people involved in the crash were sent to area hospitals.
There was another accident in northern Kentucky causing traffic headaches. The overpass of Kentucky 237/North Bend Road over I-275 in Hebron was shut down to a crash involving up to 10 vehicles.
Slick roads may be to blame for both accidents. The National Weather Service says some light snow overnight may have frozen on some bridges and overpasses.
Total snow accumulation this morning is expected to remain under half an inch.
