SR1 at East Fork Road |
Dispatchers say a semi truck overturned on State Road 1 at East Fork Road just before 11:30 Sunday night. The semi then caught fire.
Nobody was hurt in the crash which involved only the truck.
SR1 will remain closed in both directions at the accident scene until at least 7:00 Monday morning.
Deputies say numerous truck drivers have attempted to take SR1 despite radio warning that the highway is closed. The deputies may begin ticketing those truckers who must then be allowed through the crash scene because there is no room to turn around along that stretch of SR1.
