(Batesville, Ind.) - Batesville Police have arrested three people on heroin charges.
Late Tuesday night, officers served a search warrant at a home at 105 East Hillebrand Avenue. Inside, they found a quantity of heroin, needles, and paraphernalia, according to Batesville Chief of Police Stan Holt.
Arrested at the home were three Batesville residents: Samantha Siegle, 21; Kenneth Lecher, 20; and Taylor Jones, 19.
All three suspects were arrested for Possession of Heroin, Possession of a Hypodermic Needle, both Class D felonies, and Reckless Possession of Paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor. They are being held in the Ripley County Jail.
Holt said the Ripley County prosecutor’s office worked closely with Batesville officers to obtain the search warrant.
