(Versailles, Ind.) - A Ripley County man is in jail after allegations that he sexually touched a 13-year-old girl.

According to the Versailles Republican, 32-year-old Richard Jarrett, of Milan, was arrested last week on two counts of felony Child Molesting.

The incidents allegedly happened last October – one of which after Jarrett got the teen drunk.

Jarrett is held in the Ripley County Jail on $50,000 bond.

A jury trial has been scheduled for November in Ripley Circuit Court. Jarrett faces up to 50 years behind bars if convicted of both counts.
