(Aurora, Ind.) - A drunk driver was not difficult for a Dearborn County Sheriff’s deputy to arrest on the 4^th of July.

Jeremy Obara, of Aurora, was found passed out at the wheel of a pickup truck on the 9800 block of Texas Gas Road at about 5:45 a.m.

According to a court affidavit, Obara allegedly had the truck still running and in gear as he was holding a cell phone and drooling on himself.

Obara, 20, was allegedly too intoxicated to perform a field sobriety test. He would later blow a BAC of 0.14, well over Indiana’s legal 0.08 driving limit.

Obara is charged with Operating While Intoxicated and Minor Consumption.
