(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Weather for the remainder of the week in southeast Indiana will be the definition of the word “scorcher.”
High temperatures are expected to hit the mid- to upper-90’s Tuesday according to the National Weather Service. Those temps should stay around through Thursday along with moderate humidity.
On Tuesday the forecasted high temperature is 93, followed by 93 Wednesday and 94 Thursday. Lows will fall into the 70s most nights this week. On Friday, the daytime high will step back into the upper-80s.
The NWS warns people to avoid prolonged exposure outdoors and stay hydrated. Neighbors and family members should check on the elderly to ensure they are cool and comfortable.
