(Batesville, Ind.) - Two juveniles have been arrested for drug activity in Batesville.

On February 19, Batesville Police responded to a report of two suspicious vehicles near the Hillendale boat ramp.

A police K9 on scene alerted at the presence of narcotics. A subsequent search turned up marijuana and drug paraphernalia in both vehicles.

The two juvenile drivers – ages 16 and 17 – were taken into custody for a short time before being released to their parents.

Charging information for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Paraphernalia were forwarded to Ripley county prosecutor Ric Hertel on both juveniles.
